Have you ever felt tired, weak and almost giving up? Have you ever felt alone, helpless and all you want is to cry?
I often do! My friends know me to be a strong, happy person. They look up on me, telling me how lucky and blessed I am because I am a super woman! I don’t get tired, I’m always on the go, I always look on things that will keep my days busy, and a lot of other things that demonstrate strength. And while all these are true, there’s this part of me that I always ask at night, when the lights are off, when no one is around. “Are you really that person they say you are?” “Are you really that superwoman who never gets tired?” And my answer is always – “No, I don’t think so.”
A lot of times, I feel like I want to escape from the world who expects me be that superwoman they say I am. Many times, I want to hide and cry because I feel tired, lonely and helpless. I would often ask myself, “how can you disappear from this world, even for just a day?”
As I write this, my heart is troubled. I was talking to a friend and was telling her all these and all of a sudden, a voice whispered – I will sustain you. Then I realized, in everything that you and I maybe going through today, do not lose hope! Because you and I are on this situation for a reason. And my God who led us in this path will never leave us nor forsake us. He will keep us going – He will sustain us. A dark cloud might have been shaded the rainbow, but remember, all is well my friend. You and I are not alone in this fight, and we will win because we’re born victorious!
